http://www.politico.com/story/2015/08/dianne-feinstein-defends-clintons-email-practices-121339.html"Feinstein also dropped another small news nugget, noting that the State Department inspector general is conducting a broader review of the email practices of the past five Secretaries of State and their senior staff.
That means Clintons and her top brasss email practices arent the only ones under the microscope."
This whole thing is another attempt to destroy Hillary, and sadly many on the left are going along with it.

(32,864 posts)It's what they've done for a long time. Considering how. NOT secure government information seems to be maybe it was better.

(19,348 posts)Bernie is the left's replacement for Hillary, last time it was Obama.
There is some serious hatred of HRC by the left. This hatred passes anything ever brought against Dubya and Co.
They will not forgive Hillary's vote for the Iraq war, yet want IWR co-sponsor Joe Biden to jump it.
There are elements on the left that are as deranged on the far right.
It is absolutely disturbing.

(2,301 posts)It sucks to see people be so myopic with the circular firing squads. It would be one thing if there was a legitimate backing behind these "controversies," but from my perspective things look pretty ginned up. We know the Bush administration did similar things with email, but they get a pass from the media for some reason (probably because our side isn't constantly harping about it in lock-step). Likewise, I don't understand for the life of me why Sanders should be the focus of a discussion about race.
I know some people here hate the team metaphor, but that's how I see it. We've got a pretty deep bench of perfectly serviceable players on our side of the aisle (compared to the freak show on the other side), but that shouldn't make us so complacent that we feel the real fight is an internecine one.

(1,428 posts)about this Fox News scandal. I have a lot of problems with Hilliary but this is beltway noise. Republicans using their power to harass a popular candidate from the other party. If they really cared about good government there would be endless investigations of Iraq war.
