Backyard chickens go to court; feuding neighbors told not to squawk

If a neighbor suing a neighbor over chickens isn’t a sign of the apocalypse, then this surely is.

After a hearing Thursday in which one neighbor asked a judge to order the removal of the other neighbor’s chickens from the woman’s yard, attorneys for both neighbors refused to let their clients answer any questions.

About chickens.

“We’d like the media to please be respectful and not try this case in the media,” said attorney Eric Kruger, who filed a lawsuit on behalf of Omaha resident Lynn Perry. “And that will be the end of our comment.”

that's for ordinary things like murder and gay marriage.

I hope the chicken owners win.

Dogs and cats are far more intrusive and disruptive than chickens (assuming no roosters).
