Geraldo Rivera.. Remember when he was on MSNBC and spoke to

the liberal point of view.. he was pretty damn good back then..and then sold out and took up with Fox because he went for the money. Obviously to keep up with his life style needs..

Sometimes I wish MSNBC would make a play to get him back.. He’s a tough guy who can really mix it up..Am I wrong to think these kinds of thoughts?

growing up in NYC, I witnessed his rise to his tabloid tv like tactics.

he's always been full of shit, he's always, been a self aggrandizing halfwit and he's always gone with the biggest paycheck regardless of how much he has to sell his soul to get it.

fuck him

You can't sell out a team if you're not on it.

Remember, Rivera was originally a lawyer. He was recruited into the news business after a presser for his clients; the local ABC News affiliate thought he worked well in front of a camera and they were trying to make the news team more ethnically diverse. He did well there for a number of years, got exposure nationally from his pieces on 20/20 (ABC's answer to 60 Minutes), but went independent after he couldn't break into the top-tier.

And then Al Capone's Vault. 10-15 years as Mr. Tabloid.

The MSNBC stint was his entree back into "serious news", or at least commenting on it. After that, he did what he always does: follow the money (or at least where he thinks it will be, rightly or wrongly).

He didn't need to be "on the team" to argue its case. And still doesn't.
