While certainly a brilliant tactician and master of the military art, it is my opinion that this gentleman was also a traitor to this country.

2. There's a lot of American blood on his hands.

Had Lee stayed loyal to the country he had taken an oath to defend he would have had command of the Army of the Potomac and that war wouldn't have lasted a year.

No Gettysburg. No Antietam. No Siege at Vicksburg. No Andersonville.
