Ben Carson doesn't apologize for fetal tissue research, because it was never about that.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2015/08/13/the_planned_parenthood_attacks_aren_t_about_fetal_tissue_revelations_about.html

As seen in the Slatest this morning, Dr. Ben Carson—who has been hungrily exploiting right-wing hay-making over Planned Parenthood donating fetal tissue to research—has done research using fetal tissue himself. Credit to OB-GYN and pro-choice blogger Dr. Jen Gunter, who found Carson's 1992 paper on research done using fetal samples obtained from abortions.

Carson's response? His case was different. Why? Because it just was.

While opining on the uselessness of fetal tissue research to Megyn Kelly Dr. Carson neglected to mention his own paper Colloid Cysts of the Third Ventricle: Immunohistochemical evidence for nonneuropithelial differentiation published in Hum Pathol 23:811-816 in 1992. The materials and methods describe using “human choroid plexus ependyma and nasal mucosa from two fetuses aborted in the ninth and 17th week of gestation."

because he is an absolute tool - but "aborted" can refer to miscarriage as well as termination.

Dr. Carson got paid for his work and paper. He's not getting any coin from fetal tissue anymore, so now it's bad, bad, bad. Oh, and he would like Republican dimwits to vote for him. So, you know, totally different.
