Confederate Flags Fly In Fairmont High Parking Lot (OH)

KETTERING -- Kettering Fairmont High School is taking action after students have been displaying confederate flags on cars in the school parking lot ...

Mayabb said the first day the drove them to school, Principal Alexander asked that he remove all flags from the truck, but that they settled on just removing the Confederate flag ...

"It is not an issue of freedom of speech," Alexander said, "That symbol can be offensive to some, and we are as school administrators required to provide a safe learning environment for our students" ...

"I'm not trying to offend anybody, I just feel it's my right to fly the flag," said Vogel ...

WTF??? What does a flag have to do with the second amendment??? Maybe this little turd should worry about what he's fucking learning in school instead of what he's flying in the lot.

The antebellum South was an armed camp

And then when the war came, folk down there got a lot more practice shooting

The shooting didn't stop when the war ended, either: we usually gloss over it, but Reconstruction didn't just fizzle out -- it was shot to bloody bits
