Mississippi Flag Banned in Leflore County (MS)

GREENWOOD, Miss. (AP) – A Mississippi flag flew for a few hours outside the Leflore County Courthouse, three days after supervisors voted to prohibit the banner on county property.
Chancery Clerk Sam Abraham tells The Greenwood Commonwealth that he doesn’t know who raised the flag Thursday on a pole by a Confederate monument outside the courthouse. It flew for about two and a half hours.
