I would like to apologize to pnwmom

In a thread yesterday I allowed my temper to get away from me, and I lashed out at her with unacceptable viciousness. This resulted in two well-deserved hides.

As such, I apologize to pnwmom for going way over the top.

that people disagree with.

That is why I jury vote to let stay all but personal attacks.

Jefferson, supporting free press, argued that all points of view should be allowed. The "disinfectant of sunshine" will remove those that are ill thought out.

It used to be people would post a reply with an argument about why they disagreed with a person. Not just click "Alert" or get all butt hurt over some sarcasm.

Saying that one is sorry and admitting mistake, is one of the hardest things to do in life.

It does speak about an individual that can do such.

I hope all can be healed.

use ignore when one feels furious with someone's POV. Ignored can always be removed when one's stress levels have abated. That said, good on you for apologizing.

To quote the Breakfast Club "How do you apologize for something like that? There's just no way."

Which is true, of course, there is NO way, but I think a good start would be sending ten dollars a week to me, Al Franken, Minneapolis, Minnesota (that's all the address you need).

Wait, how many times have I posted that Al Franken joke?

I say yeah! for both Orrex and pnwmom.
