Josh Duggar Admits being Hypocrite, Blames Porn Addiction

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3205122/I-biggest-hypocrite-Josh-Duggar-ADMITS-unfaithful-wife-revealed-37-million-Ashley-Madison-cheaters.htmlJosh Duggar has admitted being unfaithful to his wife after his name emerged among 37 million Ashley Madison users.

In a new statement the reality star said: 'I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

'I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

and while you're beating your breast, you might as well point out you were raised in a house where your sexuality was supposed to be walled off somehow, that you were never taught any of the mechanics, none of the responsibilities that come with a sex life. Self denial was how you were supposed to live as a young teenager with normal outlets like masturbation declared sinful and shameful. It's no wonder you're screwed up sexually.

You just didn't do the whole job yourself, kid. Now your choice consists of choosing not to raise your own kids in the screwed up headspace your parents put you in.

On that you can be sure. Just because he got outed for his sexual proclivities doesn't mean he's going to make the leap into understanding what's natural.

He'll attend some crazy pseudo therapy approved by their religion to deprogram him of his "sickness" and the faithful will forgive his transgression. Then things will go on as always in such repressed and unnatural societies.

At least the rest of us can feel a small level of comfort that they have lost some major influence in DC over all of this.

The Duggars had a reality show on TLC called 19 Kids and Counting. They don't believe in birth control.

They spent years and years telling us all how admirable they are and how they are living their lives the right way. They held themselves up as role models for all of us. Josh Duggar used to work at the Family Research Council, a right-wing DC think tank. He preached family values and lambasted LGBT people. And got paid a lot of money to do it--much more than he deserved based on his work history and educational background (home schooled, no college).

The Duggars were big supporters of Mike Huckabee, who continued to support Josh even after his crimes were exposed.

Privately. I'm so sick of this attention-whoring family getting just that - MORE attention.

They need to climb back under the rock from whence they came and do some serious self-evaluation of their belief system that allows them to condemn everyone else who doesn't agree with them while at the same time breaking every rule that they demand all others follow.

Hypocrites doesn't even begin to cut it any more.

Even though he recognizes he is a hypocrite. He still thinks you should live the life he preaches.
He will likely plead forgiveness and go right back to spewing the same nonsense.

They never ever admit the life they preach you live by is unworkable. It is just a small failure of their own you should still lead this life.

Screw that people are messy ,sure we should do our best to be kind to one another but beyond that the judgment and condemnation of other people's lives needs to stop

One would think at some point these tools would wake up to the fact that what they espouse is not doable or normal seeing as how they can't even pull it off themselves.

Thu Aug 20, 2015, 02:49 PM
Aug 2015

Nice you apologized to your family and Christians and all but what about the people your hypocritical barbs were aimed at? Until you can recognize that marriage is under threat from hypocrites like you, not same-sex marriage proponents, you still are part of the problem.

1) The Gay ‘Attack’ On Family
Duggar took to the steps of the Arkansas Capitol last year to denounce same-sex marriage as an “attack” on the family, children, “Christian values,” freedom of speech and even the U.S. economy:

2) Gays Ruining Beauty of Marriage
Citing his own marriage to a woman, Duggar said at a Virginia anti-gay rally last year[]that gay marriage doesn’t conform to the “beautiful” design of marriage but rather represents a force of anti-Christian persecution.

3) Gays Will Send Us To Jail!
At an FRC “Watchmen on the Wall” gathering earlier this year, Duggar said that the “radical agenda” behind the LGBT movement in cities like Houston, which is engaged in a battle over its nondiscrimination ordinance, is an “evil” force that “wants to put us behind bars.”

4) March for Marriage
Here’s Duggar speaking at the National Organization for Marriage’s Washington D.C. rally outside of the Supreme Court earlier this year, where he railed against “the redefinition of marriage.”

5) Won’t Somebody Please Think of the Children?
While boasting about his family’s support for a successful campaign to overturn an Arkansas city’s nondiscrimination ordinance, Duggar rejoiced that the side of “protecting the well-being of women and children in our cities” had prevailed.

Yes, that's right: he and his supporters really, really think his actions are gay people's fault.

Or, not so much their "fault", really. But that he failed because society failed to uphold the standards he needed, and one symptom of that is that gay people are no longer at such fear for their lives that they have to hide their identity.

My point is that nobody who listened to his message to begin with is going to think "oh, wow, maybe I should re-think patriarchy". They're going to think "OMG even the Duggars are in danger from the erosion of values; we must fight back even harder against The Gay Agenda(tm)".

He agrees that you are a giant hypocrite. He says to tell you that he forgives you on the following conditions:

You must shut up and go away. All of you. No more reality shows for you or any members of your family on TLC or anywhere else.
No more public statements or apologies. No one wants to hear from you or see your face.
No more media interviews on any topic. Period.
No more lobbying for "family values" or anything else.
Go find someplace where you can do an honest day's work in anonymity for the rest of your life. He said there is to be no motivational speaking career in your future. None of this "I have repented and changed my ways and now let me spread the word kind of bullshit."
Those were His exact words.
He specifically used the phrase "your 15 minutes are over." He said for you to delete all websites and social media accounts forever.
He repeated the phrase "go away."
As for the damage you have done to your family... Jesus says for you to sort that out.
He emphatically says that no one else needs to hear another word about it.
I would shut up and go away if I were you.
He seemed kinda pissed.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's delusional idea of trying to get TLC to let them have a new reality show where they counsel molestation victims.

You would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to realize that the Duggars were total failures as parents to Josh and how they handled the molestation incident both with Josh and Josh's victims.

It seems like it would be a good idea for Child Protective Services to have a good hard long look at both Josh's children and his other siblings.

TLC would be beyond stupid to get involved with Jim Bob and Michelle doing a show where they counsel anybody because they don't have any credentials to serve as counselors and it is pretty clear that they are failures at it. There could be some real potential liability issues for TLC to get involved with anything like that.
