Comments from a couple of folks at the Alabama Trump rally

cut n pasted from USA Today.com:

snip
Trump has drawn supporters from across all ages.

“He wants to make this country a better country,” said Cade McEwan, 12, of Grand Bay, Ala. “In the process he doesn’t care about hurting anyone’s feelings.”

Carolyn Brown, 75, of Silver Hill, Ala., said she has always voted Democrat, but Trump has swayed her to vote Republican for the first time in her life.

“I believe he is the man that God has chosen to bring America back,” she said. “He actually seems like he can pull it together. He has the charisma. Everybody wants to pay attention to what he says.”
snip

Why does God have to get into everything? And why is not caring about people's feelings a good thing? That isn't the way I was raised. (oh, wait - they mean certain OTHER people's feelings but not theirs) PLUS - they quoted a 12 year old????

That is fine for a reality TV "star", not good for an international politician. That is how wars get started

It's just those people over there, you know, the ones with darker skin.

Boy, are they going to be surprised.

... and very common for three or four year old children.
Less common for children with closely spaced older siblings.

I doubt there's much correlation to adult behavior.

... or do you mean religion?

Although I am of course aware of children having invisible friends when young. I personally never had any, nor did either of my children. I believe all three of my sister's kids had them.

about Zombie King Reagan about this time in the 1980 election cycle.

This is, as Matt Taibbi pointed out, getting a little scary.
