Desperate Jeb Goes Full Dolezal?

Is it getting this bad? Flailing in the polls and struggling to find a rationale for his candidacy, is Jeb Bush suggesting he may be black? Judd Legum at ThinkProgress points out that the Jeb SuperPac 'Right to Rise' has just blanketed Iowa with a mailer in which Jeb's head appears to be photoshopped on to a black man's body.

4. Also look at the right hand.

It has darker edges that are obviously not shadows - looks like they tried to photoshop a white hand over the black one but they didn't quite make it fit. And his head is too small for the body, which is particularly odd since Jeb!'s actual head is unusually large and pumpkin-like.

Here's how I imagine this whole mess came about:

Intern #1: They want a mailer for Iowa with a picture of Jeb! in front of some Iowa scenery. And they want it tomorrow!

Intern #2: We don't have any pictures of him standing in front of anything in Iowa. We'll have to make something up.

Intern #1: Here's a picture of a river in Iowa. We can just photoshop Jeb's body into the foreground.

Intern #2: But we don't have any good photos of him just standing somewhere. Maybe we can get something from Google Images.

Intern #1: Here, I found a body that should work. We just need to put Jeb's head on it.

Intern #2: But this guy is black.

Intern #1: That's OK, I'll just change the right hand, like this, and paste in Jeb's head, like this!

Intern #2: His head's too small.

Intern #1: Nobody will notice. There, done.

Intern #2: The left hand is still black.

Intern #1: Trust me, they won't notice. Let's go grab a beer.
