3. I hate to bring this up but if this outrages HRC supporters

how do they feel about Bill Clinton sexually harassing an intern in the Oval office? Yep that was sexual harassment because the power differential between the President and the intern was light years and violated federal employment guidelines. If HRC becomes President, her First "Gentleman" will be Bill Clinton. I try not to think about that but I do wonder how that's gonna work.

I don't recall Anita Hill consenting to either Thomas's harassment or her treatment in the hearings. Poor judgment on Clinton's part, but that's about it, IMO.

and the rules were that you do not sexually harass the interns even if they think they're in love. It's an unequal relationship in which someone has control over her and uses that power to manipulate and abuse the party without power

13. I agree about sexual harassment, but the harm done by Biden in the Clarence Thomas hearings

is infinitely greater. No comparison at all.

Confirming Clarence Thomas was a travesty that continues to have major effects on our country and will continue to for decades, most likely. I listened to the entire hearings as they happened. Thomas' confirmation was not a foregone conclusion. The specific individuals who facilitated this travesty should be perpetually ashamed.

14. If you "hate" to bring it up, why are you? I think you love to

bring it up, which is odd being that this is a democratic site. But no, Lewinsky wasn't harassed and made to feel unsafe in her work environment. She went after Bill Clinton by her own admission. She pursued the hell out of him, including getting him alone and showing him her thong underwear, flirting with him, etc. She has talked all about it. Anita Hill did NOT want sex with Clarence Thomas, and he was making her feel uncomfortable and unsafe in her work environment. That is a huge difference.

If a woman wants to have sex with a guy at work, even if he is her boss, and she flirts with him, then she is NOT BEING SEXUALLY HARASSED if he reciprocates. People are allowed to find their boss sexy. People can even sleep with their boss. A woman at my last job married the boss. She wasn't sexually harassed either. Many of us went to the wedding, but I guess he should have been fired for sexual harassment, according to you.

What I want to know is why so many people are incapable of letting go of a consensual affair that happened 20 years ago. Good Lord, you'd think Bill was the only man in history to have an affair. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing reference after reference to it. I would have thought at least I would escape it here, but no. What a shame. Let it go.

The times article is an accurate synopsis, and secondary source. But you can always watch the almost 2 hour video if you choose.

if they(Biden led group) didn't allow her to speak. That would have been so easy for the committee to do.
