By CAITLIN CRUZ
Republican presidential candidate and former neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson said during a campaign stop in Arkansas on Thursday there isn't a war on women, but rather there may be "a war on what's inside of women."
"They tell you that theres a war on women," Carson said while in Little Rock, according to RawStory. "There is no war on women. There may be a war on whats inside of women, but there is no war on women in this country."
Carson didn't clarify how women and their insides were being separately legislated.

(65,616 posts)to the nation and the population. Ben Carson is one of the biggest morons I've ever listened to. So...how do you have a war on just a body part (we all know he is talking about something the GOP fears more than taxes and death - a women's uterus) and not the entire body? Answer...you can't, only a total MORON would say that!
FUCK YOU CARSON! Go crawl back in your cave!

qwlauren35
(6,148 posts)His statement made perfect sense to me. Pro-life people don't see the woman. They see the fetus inside of the woman. I think there are people here who are so far removed from how pro-life people think that they don't see how Carson's statement makes sense to the Pro-life crowd.

(3,811 posts)The disease is strict paternalism. The strict father (father, God, state) wants what's best for his children in a morally wicked world. He teaches them with moral certainty right from wrong. If they are morally straight, their lives will be secure and content. If they are morally weak, they may become poor, or imprisoned, or pregnant. Only through strict discipline and "tough love" can his "children" be prepared for a life in a wicked world.

(5,504 posts)I assume he's talking about how us evil Liberals want to 'kill babies?' It's funny how he can't just come out and say it, with the purpose of maintaining plausible deniability later that he was making a statement about abortion.
Also, start caring about babies when they're born, then we'll talk. Until then, it's obvious they don't care what's inside women.
