Petition seeks Confederate flag removal (FL)

... Biggs says she's started a petition on Change.org to amend the school's code of conduct to declare the flag an offensive symbol - so it can't be displayed at all.
Current students at the school will be taking the petition to the next school board meeting next week.
Hunter, not surprisingly, disagrees.
"I think it's a little ridiculous," she said. "I mean, we are southern states and those are our southern flags, so I don't see why we can't proudly fly it whether we're going down the road or sitting in a student parking lot" ...
