OK… I will say it

All the squabbling between Hillary and Bernie and O'Mally supporters is fine and dandy. But much to the chagrin of most of you, it doesn't really matter (as the election of Obama proves… a President's power is limited).
I think both of them are good, qualified people that will act in the interest of the American people and the world at large.
The important thing is that we do NOT ALLOW a Republican to get into the highest office in the land.
Nitpick at each other as much as you want, but you better keep your eye on the prize.
Quit feeding Republicans ammo!

It's up to our GD hosts, and that's fine with me. They have a thankless job but they work hard to review and reach a consensus. Obviousy working for the big buck$.

It's a valid opinion. Just one that might be seen as inappropriate for GD. It's certainly not something I would alert on. Or even care if the hosts lock or not.

or Biden or whoever gets the nomination, and I'm betting the vast majority here will as well.

With that in mind, I'm not getting the extreme hostility of some of the disputes here.

Tell that to the family of the 16-year old kid who got turned into bug splat because Sept. 11 "changed everything."

It's not going to happen without a political revolution, which I define as record numbers of enthusiastic voters going to the polls to elect a candidate who is leading that revolution.

If the "prize" we have our eyes on does not rise above keeping a Republican out of the White House, it's not much of a prize at all. It's the status quo, which on many levels should be unacceptable to liberals/progressives who give a damn.
