Florida Lottery Commissioner caught living large like she was a winner.

Rick Scott's Lottery Secretary Cynthia O'Connell is on record for taking nine
weeks of vacation in calendar year 2014 and chraged nearly $30,000 in travel
expenses to the State. She has submitted her resignation. It remains to be
seen if there will be any further action or if there will be any recompensation
to the State.

Since taking office, Scott has had four chiefs of staff, three education secretaries and massive turnover at the state Department of Environmental Protection. In January, the governor's office was accused of improperly ousting longtime Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey.

What about his Lt. Governor?? She resigned in disgrace as well

I still can't believe this guy won re-election

I live in a f-ed up state

So even though she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar she still gets another month's pay. And according to another article {Link to Article} her annual salary is $141,000. So that means she pockets another $11,750 of the taxpayers' money while the State pays an interim Commissioner to do her job. It's great taking a ride on the Gravy Train.

For some reason the GOP is mostly immune to charges from white collar crime.
