Obamacare couldn't help me!

I'm sneezing and coughing and hacking, and I have a nasty sore throat, too. I went on the Obamacare website and couldn't find anything that was any help. My wife has the same thing, but she went to the doctor at the urgent care clinic. She was scared it might be the pneumonia. They did all kinds of tests and took an X-ray and everything. She has Obamacare, and she's still hacking and coughing, even after that clinic visit. Oh, they gave her some pills and stuff, but after half an hour, it hasn't done her any good. She still feels crummy. That's Obamacare for you. They said she had a cold virus and that it could take a week to get better. See, that's all the good Obamacare is! Then, they had the gall to charge her a $20 copay, since her supplemental insurance won't pay the whole thing, damn their eyes. $20 to be told you have a cold and to go home and wait for a week. Obamacare did nothing for her. NOTHING, I tell you.

Me? Well, I'm on Medicare, and everyone tells me that nobody takes Medicare, so I didn't go to the doctor at all. I probably couldn't even have gotten into the clinic with my socialized Medicare card. Nobody takes it, they say. But, Hell, my wife's still sick too. Can you believe it? They told her there's a nasty cold virus going around and that she'd be OK in a week. I suppose that if they had let me anywhere near that clinic with my socialistic single payer healthcare card, they'd have told me the same nonsense, and that I'd have to wait seven whole days to feel better. So to heck with them and their phony baloney used car salesman tactics. I'll just stay home and show them what I'm made of.

What's the good of any of it? You go there because you're sick and they send you home still sick!

I caught a minor virus that was going around and my wife caught it as well. We went the doctor who looked at our Medicare card and immediately saw the chance to make big bucks and admitted both of us to the hospital with explicit orders that we were to be given deluxe accommodations with a team of nurses to wait on us hand and foot and give us massages while being doctors ran up BILLIONS of dollars in tests every single hour to bilk the most out of us taxpayers. We dined on Kobe steak and they flew in Maine lobster fresh for every meal prepared at our bedside by 5-star chefs and nursing assistants cut and fed our meal to us. This continued for a week or two until we were better at which point they drove us home in a limo and assigned a personal care nurse to us for a month to ensure their was no recurrence of our symptoms.

I like Kobe beef and lobster. Where's mine? Hell, I'm as good as any damned piece of shit republican! I'm going to go see if I can't get that treatment. I'll still have the cold, but I'll be enjoying life. I'll tell them I'm a Republican dammit, and they'd better treat me accordingly!

Just link to some of your posts on freerepublic.com or darwncentral.org.
They'll believe it.

As for the satire...

Weak.

hint about things that happened a decade ago. To what end, SixString? What purpose could that possibly serve? Nobody cares. Not even me.

As for my satire being weak...OK. Everyone's a critic. Thanks for the review and for kicking my thread up.

I'll go pick up some Hunan. Usually, I do cook. I'm better at it, really. I'd invite you over but I don't like being insulted in my own home.
