The owner of an embattled Omaha event planning company has accused four former employees of deceiving her, committing fraud and essentially stealing company funds.
The company, Creative Creations, and its owner, Patricia Urbanovsky, are under investigation by federal authorities in connection with the sale of worthless travel vouchers.
Urbanovsky filed a civil lawsuit Friday in Douglas County District Court against former employees Steven Finkle, Ryan Scheetz, Kelly Gressman and Kim McKeone.
She alleges the employees embezzled company funds, padded sales figures to obtain larger commissions and charged customers higher-than-actual voucher prices and pocketed the difference.
