First, I tally all these personal beliefs up for Obama.
OK, now I consider George W. Bush, how and why I "approve" and "disapprove". I hear that * spent some $ on the issue of "Aids in Africa" and I have to admit, the idea seems good. So I "approve". And so on, I calculate it out for George W. Bush. I approve of some shit, I disapprove of other.

Now I compare the sums, Barack Obama vs. George W. Bush. But how in hell can I *do* that?
Can I include what they *didn't* do? Can I include what I *hoped*, vs what I was resigned to? How do I weigh such a difference?
Can I note what exists in one list and doesn't exist in the other?

Can I factor in that Trump and Carson together account for 40% of Republican/R_leaners support in the latest quinnipiac poll, and factor in what percentage of the population of the USA that statistic purports to describe -- and that what THOSE yobos might "approve" and "disapprove" of is totally unrelated to what a thinking person cares about?

It's about ISSUES. How do you stand on ISSUES?
Not on stupid "opinion polls", seductive as they are for talking points.

Bush will be seen as the buffoon he was. History will someday reduce Regan's legacy to what it should have been too.
