Help! What should I do?...... Police came.

Last edited Fri Sep 4, 2015, 01:08 PM - Edit history (1)

I have been hearing noises from the apartment above me. I can hear raised voices. I alo heard several loud sounds like a piece of furniture being overturned and pushed.

I know the lady and her daughter who live there. I have never heard any noises from them in 8 years.

I went and knocked on her door. I was going to tell her I thought somebody fell and I was checking o see if she was okay. Nobody would come to the door.

Should I call the police?

The police came and talked to them for a while. She as upset but not at him-her brother. No viible injuries and they will check agin.

What if it was a home invasion deal? (Edit: Or maybe whoever was home had a stroke after a shouting match, somebody stormed out, and the other person then collapsed on the floor?)

I called the non-emergency number and explained what I heard to the dispatcher. They are sending somebody. I guess it's a welfare check.
The dispatcher was very nice. She told me I did the right thing.

Sounds like arguing. I am not straining to hear. The cats even have their ears up.

I have thought of that and all of the problems. Hopefully, someone with some sense will show up.
