Presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina made an appearance on the Hugh Hewitt radio show Tuesday, where the host asked her opinion of the situation in Kentucky, where county clerk Kim Davis is refusing to issue marriage licenses because her religion is opposed to same-sex couples marrying.

Ms. Fiorina, who once proposed a Constitutional Amendment to reserve marriage for heterosexual couples, came down on the side of the courts, telling Hewitt:

"When you are a government employee, I think you take on a different role. When you are a government employee as opposed to say, an employee of another kind of organization, then in essence, you are agreeing to act as an arm of the government.”...

Fiorina said she disagreed with the Supreme Court’s decision, but that their ruling had to be followed. Kim Davis has but two real choices, do her job, or find another one. No special accommodations should be made for her religious beliefs:
