I wonder how long before they kill someone with their latest toy. Amazing how much money we always for instruments of death, but no money at all for the preservation of life.

fewer and fewer people believe that denial by authorities is confirmative.

which reminds me of a movie i saw one. there were these robot beasts in a future world who had a function equivalent to CCYV cameras on streets -- they ran around looking ugly and recording everything for the dictatorship (& secretly killing dissidents). their recordings were supposed to be the final word when crimes were committed...but it turned out their recordings were faked in cases where the robot creatures were the killers.

that movie seems more prescient than it did when i first saw it, but i can't remember the name of it. wish i could.

Ended up with an uncomfortable "laugh" at how they are unarmed now, *just* spying on us.

10. Very dubious

First the camera is moved and pointed at nothing

Then it is held until there with a flick zoom and refocus but the objects in field are far enough away that focus is not needed.

The camera is then held very steady for 6 seconds.

During this the UAV moves into shot high left but the cameraman does nothing to centre the shot.

Then the UAV moves past midpoint and only then is the camera moved and a seeming attempt made to centre the shot.

Then there is a cut to a picture of a UAV against a cloudy sky and comparing it to a stock shot of a UAV near the ground.

Additionally in the live shot the UAV appears in focus only in seconds 18 and 19 in the rest of the video it is blurred.

11. This whole domestic drone surveillance is so FUBAR

I mean shit, most every city already has near 24/7 helicopters full
of cops, FBI, et. al. buzzing around, not to mention surveillance
cameras every 10-12 feet of public space.

So why exactly do we need drones spying on US citizens again?

I thought the whole idea of drones is to avoid putting US combatants in
harms way by piloting an aircraft that could likely be shot down. And
I've not been hearing of such things happening in the good old USA ...
have you?

So again I must ask, WTF is up with surveillance drones operating in this
country?

It is my hope that this truly is a hoax video created by some guy in his apartment, however with recent bills passed and actions by local and federal law enforcement officials, we can not completely discount it.

The problem is, those in power that could have ordered the drone to do it's rounds would more than likely say its a hoax to shut people up. We can't trust our government anymore, as in their eyes, we're all threats.

And that's true, we are. We're threats to their power and their fortunes. We threaten to overthrow their tyranny.

15. So basically if they deny it their lying, if they ignore it their complicit?

That's the problem with conspiracy theories, built into them is some measure of distrust that allows the theorists to point to denials and lack of a reaction by those who are supposed to be 'behind it' and use them as 'proof of the conspiracy'.

the theorists make it so that the only way an authority figure can be trusted is to buy into their conspiracy.

I wish i was that good at being able to point a camera at a moving object after spinning around nearly 180 degrees.
