JOB - Just Over Broke. Now A Job Is Well Under Being Broke.

Jobs have pretty much been working and getting paid "just over broke" in most cases. Most jobs have never really paid enough. And jobs that pay a living wage or decent wage have been falling as a percentage of total jobs since the mode 1970's. Since Reagan poor paying jobs have accelerated as the loss of good jobs has accelerated as well. Due to outsourcing, contracting, and offshoring the number of good jobs compared to "garbage" jobs are as high as any time in the recent or even distant past.

Job insecurity and job volatility are extremely high. Most workers now must face a future where they cannot be sure they will have a decent job that they now have even 6 months from now. Long term jobs are NOT a part of the new business model. And neither is sharing the wealth labor creates part of the model either.

All of these conditions are part of the declining unions and the "keep government out of your business" mantra that has been part of the labor landscape since 1980. And working conditions will most likely get worse over time until workers begin to demand a fair share of the wealth they create. Billionaires did not create their wealth alone. That depended on thousands of workers toiling in the dungeons of businesses.
