Warren: Trump Discusses 'Important Things' Like Taxing The Wealthy (Sigh!)

So disappointed by Ms Warren today. It seems that she cannot spot demagoguery when she sees it.

I understand she disqualifies him for immigration. But this is not enough for me. There are many racists who claim they are populist. Some are even honest, contrarily to Trump. I cannot approve half of their claims.

Accepting Trump's claim at face value and not understanding the man is a master hustler is something NO DEMOCRAT SHOULD FALL FOR, whatever their political agenda. This is stupid and wreckless.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said on Tuesday that while she believes Donald Trump's positions on immigration should disqualify him from becoming president, she supports his call to raise taxes on the wealthy.

If Trump actually had a plan to tax the wealth, I could agree with her. But all we have heard are a few sentences that could mean anything. My guess is that, in part, she confuses billionaires and people who make money on Wall Street.

"Like Donald Trump and I both agree that there ought to be more taxation of the billionaires, the people who are making their money on Wall Street."

Many of the richest people in this country are not Wall Street Bankers. The Koch Brothers, or for the matter Donald Trump are not from Wall Street. And you can be sure that Trump does not want to increase his taxes (or anybody rich's taxes), except may be bankers who pushed him into bankruptcy 4 times.

So, sorry. could people stop accepting his demagoguery at face values.

And saying that before messing with the GOP on taxing the wealthy is OK by me.

This is what bothers me. She seems to think he is honest.

5. Nope. I doubt Warren does either. It's more about making taxing the wealthy neither a right or left

thing as she states in the article.

It's about putting a spot light on the issue and playing Trump's card to keep the issue now on both sides of the isle as a campaign topic. Takes the heat off Dems a bit and puts it on the GOP field for an important issue that the GOP usually rails hard against.

Again jmo...

Demagoguery is always dangerous. No need to help them.

And I agree with his "call" as well. Especially since it's being said to conservatives, who need to hear it the most. Maybe he will convince a few of them that taxing the rich isn't a bad thing
