Right Wing Watch story hereFrom the article:
Pointing to the birth last year of two cows that have facial marks that look like the number seven, Cahn and Robertson said that is all the proof they need that Americans should get ready for a cataclysmic event to occur in the coming weeks.

(23,957 posts)> But Cahn saw more evidence that America is about to receive divine retribution, while cautioning that he doesnt know what this bad thing might be and covering his bets by insisting that if a bad thing doesnt happen this month, it is because God is on the throne and He chose to withhold His wrath.
AKA
IF a Bad Thing (tm) happens in America this month (and you know something will go wrong because... it's a whole MONTH in America) it's God's retribution
IF a Bad Thing (tm) somehow does not happen this month (granting us the single most peaceful and benevolent month in my lifetime) it's because God chose to "withold His wrath".
well fuck that.
know what? i'm just going to interpret every lousy thing that's ever happened in this country as God's Wrath for our abusive capitalist economic system and slowness in ditching our segregationist ethos.
9/11? God's Wrath, should've carpet bombed heaven instead of invading Afghanistan.
bombing of Pearl Harbor? God's Wrath, guess we should have nuked Him instead of Hiroshima.
Columbine HS massacre? God's Wrath again. FU you sadistic shit of a god!
and so on.
all of which kind of makes me think this God might be an asshole, completely unworthy of respect or worship by any but the most foolish among us.

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"
