Police: Girl left in van for hours at Arkansas state Rep. Harris' preschool

Remember the state rep who adopted 3 children, and then decided it wasn't working out, so 're-homed' them, without telling anyone else, with a man who turned out to be a child abuser? It turns out he can't run a preschool properly - what a surprise:

A 3-year-old girl was left in a school van for several hours Wednesday at Growing God's Kingdom preschool in West Fork, the city's police chief said.

Police Chief Bryan Watts said the child was in the van from about 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., when police and an ambulance were called.

Watts said the child, who had been strapped into a car seat, wasn't injured. He said the girl was conscious and talked to paramedics when they arrived.
...
State Rep. Justin Harris, R-West Fork, co-owner of the preschool, said the "bus driver" didn't notice the child was still on the van after other children got off.

Harris employed the child rapist at that preschool, by the way. I'm amazed anyone still sends their children there - does it have a local monopoly or something?

These idiots shouldn't be running a lemonade stand let alone a preschool. A child could wander off or even be kidnapped and obviously they would never know anything about it for hours.

I mean, if some kid doesn't show up and a parent hasn't called, wouldn't a reputable school call the parents?

That means they were expecting an adult to unstrap her; this wasn't 'fell asleep on the bus and the driver missed her on a final check', or 'she didn't move when the driver said "everybody off the bus"'. Either the driver, or someone meeting the van, should have been actively looking after her before any aisle walk.

He makes metric fuckloads of money because he had his wife draw enormous salaries for the area, and the state pays a huge share of the tuition.
