It can't be cheap to go stand in Cliven Bundy's cow patch for two or three months keeping Obama's All Muslim Army from destroying the freedom and sovereignty of a good, God-fearing, freedom-loving American who just wants to graze his good, God-fearing, freedom-loving cattle without paying his grazing fees, or to stand in front of a county courthouse to protect a good, God-fearing, freedom-loving American from getting re-arrested for refusing to follow a court order directing her to give marriage licenses to those icky homosexuals. These guys don't LOOK to be independently wealthy. I realize about ninety percent of 'em are probably full-blown sovereign citizens, but sovereign citizens have to eat, buy gas and ammo for protests, and get supplies to defraud their creditors with just like everyone else, right?
So...who's paying these guys' living expenses?

(50,559 posts)I wasn't aware "unemployable due to the mental condition of being a gun nut" was justification for SSDI...I wonder how hard it would be to track any straw purchasing back to an individual Oath Keeper and lock him or her up for it.

(30,058 posts)Workman's comp should have to prove their disabilities, again. If you can stand on the side of a road for days and carry a gun. Then it is time to get off of SSDI or Workman's Comp.

(34,661 posts)The fellow I know is a retired Military,as well as a retired Cop. This fellow has all the financial where with all to do his bully thing. From what he has said in the past, most of these folks are on disability or some form of Military Pension as well as SSDI. Met a few of this freaks at a swap meet in South Dakota this past summer, what a bunch of Second Amendment whack jobs. And yes, they do fund themselves with fire arms sales as well as ammo. Same meet where I seen all these gun sales with out any questions being asked just show me the money. Then I was reminded to the fact that if it is a in State Sale to a State Resident,no need for any check. Oh by the way, body armor was being sold at the same meet including Kevlar suits.

(7,495 posts)the Kochs, gun manufacturers, right wing think tanks and Blackwater (or whatever they call themselves now). I think the oathkeepers are just the brownshirt army of the NRA.
