They are putting solar on many of their stores. Yay! They are going to save so much dough, they can give everyone a nice raise.

1. According to Tom Hartmann they already gave them that raise, but

then they cut their hours, so that the net pay remains the same, and it doesn't cut into anybody's profit.

Not that anybody would be surprised at that.

I hate to interrupt the sanctimony here but does anyone know anyone that works at Walmart? They have health coverage and pay over minimum and require drug and background checks.

I think it's wonderful that they have all those benefits for their employees so the mom and pop stores that had to close down due to Walmart coming into an area, all have a new place to work. It's a win win.
