Chicago’s fishy NATO arrests

Perhaps the most interesting tidbit of information fueling the rumor mill is whether the three suspects have been targeted because of a candid video they shot and released the previous week, showing CPD officers searching their car and intimidating them as they entered Chicago. The video, which gleaned considerable online attention, showed one officer recommending that protesters receive “a billy club to the fucking skull.”

The two reportedly stated that they possessed explosives that they intended to detonate, but no such devices were recovered when one of the arrestee’s homes was searched, and the police did not perform a search on the home of the other. Nonetheless, he was arrested for discussing the ingredients for making a pipe bomb (presumably with a police informant, but this remains unclear).

Perlstein’s Rolling Stone article last week is reminder enough that accusing authorities of entrapment is unlikely to work in the defendants’ favor, even if evidence is on their side. “Not a single ‘terrorism’ indictment has been thrown out for entrapment since 9/11,” he noted.

Completely innocuous statements made to sound threatening. One of them was something like, "this town will never be the same". Really? The cops supposedly have had infiltrators in these young people's lives and that is the "terrorist" quote that they have? For sweet Jesus, if the cops have a hard-on for you any Innocent thing you say can be twisted into something nefarious

and to whom the cops give special attention, so I'd say yes, there is the definite possibility that police went back and snatched them up as threatened.

Timothy Pool (Timcast) and a few other streamers were pulled over by several cop cars, cops with guns drawn, because they must have been profiled and cops wanted to scare them away (cops definitely watch livestreams, they've admitted it).

They also arrested a Getty photographer and this livestreamer:

The more video I see out of Chicago the more sickened I become. Chicago cops are a special breed of ugly.

The type of corruption they exhibit here did not just magically appear overnight.

Obviously, these cops have some long standing honesty and integrity issues.

There may be a substantial.number of people in prison who are innocent of the crimes for which they are incarcerated, due to these crooked cops profiling and then setting them up in some way.

If they had the evidence they said they had, a judge would have given them a warrant. It took what 4 hours after the busts to get an UNSIGNED warrant?

But it is good to see why these people in particular were targeted.

It was meant to terrorize the OWS crowd into submission. Actually, encourage them to avoid coming altogether. I don't know what the final count was, but I went down there and even one block away it was very light traffic on the sidewalks. (Well, except for all the cops, state police, Homeland security agents and Secret Service... )
