It started at 3 minutes and 30 seconds according to my DVR (which gives about a minute of the show before) and lasted until 19 minutes 55 seconds in. That means it was 16 minutes and 25 seconds. The first question that wasn't about her email, and for that matter the one and only question that wasn't about her email came at 15 minutes and 37 seconds on my DVR or 12 minutes and 7 seconds into the interview and it took over a minute to ask leaving just over 3 minutes for her to address anything other than email And that question wasn't actually any one issue but about issues that she had changed her opinion on over the years. If you want to see her discuss any issues you have to watch his new show on MSNBC.
Carly Fiorina starts at 25 minutes 26 seconds in. It ends at 37 minutes 13 seconds. It also was nearly issue free.
Regardless of whom one supports in the primary, this should disturb you. Issues should matter. Clearly they don't. Again, this isn't about the primaries. It is about the press.

(67,799 posts)This is the worst it has EVER been. They're playing the presidential race as a fucking reality show. It is nothing short of a travesty. It transcends party. They play all of it as if the final event is to determine who will be thrown off the island.
There has almost zero discussion of issues on either side. Even the Joke Debates have been nearly 100% issue free, eschewing them for the goading of spats between the various passengers in the clown car.
I used to care. Not so much anymore since, clearly most voters don't either. We'll get whoever the big money guys say we get, caterwauling to the contrary notwithstanding.

(7,952 posts)As Rolling Stone said (and I'm paraphrasing) in it's farewell piece on Jon Stewart. "Jon Stewart finally realized that America has given up on itself." That's the only explanation I can give as to the current state of affairs.
