I called out Dag Hammarskjold as well but it was wrong. It was U Thant from Burma who was elected after Dag Hammarskjold was killed in the accident. I actually forgot all about U Thant, it was a little before my time.

Also I think the other reply to my comment was correct and they were looking for the country Burma and not the leader U Thant.

I do remember U Thant but could not remember where he was from, other than SE Asia.

with a population of 55 million, from which came a U. N. secretary general and the country was not a member of the security council. I would give the continent, but I don't know if that constitutes a spoiler. Nobody got it correct.

13. How many shows do they film in a day?

That was his fifth appearance, and I suspect his mind was taxed because he was faultering early on before he kicked it into overdrive. One of these days, that is if he doesn't crash and burn, he WILL set a Jeopardy! record for the most money won in one day. Bank on it.

I was posting my observation on yesterdays show, his fifth. This west coaster has to wait a few more hours for number six.

A good day for me is guessing Final Jeopardy! based on just the category, something I do about 3-4% of the time.

I'm strong in some subjects and horrific in others.

17. My nightmare is waking up a contestant on Jeopardy! and discovering my categories:

Shakespeare, Opera, Greek mythology, Canadian Ice Hockey, French Literature, 1980's television.

I've never had a thought about doing more than beating up my nephews, siblings and in laws.
