They had to have known they were being used as part of a personal vendetta and as such they were participating in an illegal search and seizure. I hope they will be held accountable for their actions.

Richard Bloom lived inside the apartment building. He said after he heard the noise, he went outside and saw that a vehicle had struck the side of the apartment complex.

"I heard a loud crash. It sounded like an explosion and I came out and there were a couple of people that got out of a truck," Bloom said. "Then, I noticed a green truck against the wall over here when I went over here. There was a guy sitting in the truck and I recognized him as Bill Kirkpatrick, our mayor."

And I love in the video when the cop threatens to arrest her for cussing in the middle of her reiterating her first amendment right to flip off the mayor.

Sounds like the mayor is a problem but flipping people off is not an effective way to negotiate with or otherwise motivate them.
