to be changed. Perhaps it can be done again after the 2016 election, given the opposing sides here between Hillary and Bernie supporters.

ETA: I don't think you could find a better nick than your current one. Maybe equal to, but certainly not better.

and retire the one you are currently using.

I did that some years back. It was quite odd being greeted as a newcomer when I'd actually been on board for a while, and at first I'd sign my posts SheilaT who used to be (former name). It was worth it to me.

I also think there was an amnesty of sorts, some years back, where you could choose a new screen name and keep all your history.
