No. I mean literally "crucify."
There's a petition involved: https://secure.avaaz.org/en/stop_saudi_beheadings_loc/?fzPDdcb&pv=103
Sign it... but make it QUICK.
Apparently he was jailed at age 17 for peacefully demonstrating against the regime. ( aka "our second best friends" in the region.)
And it appears, aside from that.... he's the nephew of a Shia cleric.
The Saudi oligarchs can't rule w/o the connivance of DC. If such is the case.... DC can stop this political/religious state-murder.
Only one among so MANY murders by the state. But one has to start somewhere.

(5,330 posts)It was no coincidence that 15 out of 19 of the hijackers were Saudis... there's some serious Islamic extremism coming out of many of those Wahhabi madrasas.
Saudi Arabia is definitely one country that could use some serious "regime change."
Hopefully their own people will eventually get fed up and rise up (a la Libya) rather than us ever having to waste more U.S. blood and treasure on their sorry asses...

(16,375 posts)Do I have a shred of proof? No. It's a very strange coincidence, though, that the very countries named by PNAC and Cheney had their relatively stable regimes toppled like chess pieces in the grand game of statecraft. The sole exception is Iran, which is larger, militarily stronger, and threatening to become an atomic power.
Very strange, indeed.
