AURORA, Neb. — Harv Bish has cars, and he has stories.

Just open the door to his building south of Aurora and you’ll see. The 200-by-85-foot structure is filled with vehicles of all kinds, and Bish can tell you about every one.

There’s the Model A that was made in 1929, the same year he was born. There’s the 1960 Oldsmobile Super 88 that he got for a steal and restored from a salvage lot in Kansas.

And there’s the 1957 Chevrolet fire truck he bought near Detroit, the one where the vent didn’t shut and he had to drive the 870 miles back with one foot feeling like 12 degrees and one foot feeling like 13.
