Just when you thought youve seen it all, along comes a call for an investigation into Dez Bryants monkey.
Bryant posted a picture of himself with a tiny capuchin monkey that he called Dallas Bryant and his new best friend in the photos caption. That caught the eye of animal rights groups, who spoke to TMZ Sports to say that it was completely irresponsible to have such an animal as a pet and that Bryant will live to regret it.
Theres no confirmation that Bryant is keeping the animal as a pet (although he wouldnt be the first Cowboy wideout to do so), but now PETA has also waded into the story. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the organization has asked Desoto, Texas Animal Control to look into Bryants possibly illegal possession of a monkey.
Monkeys belong in the wild not [for] football players who acquire exotic animals just to make a splash on Instagram, Brittany Peet of PETA said.
Well see how things play out for little Dallas Bryant, but hopefully well get to the really important business and find out if he thinks Dez caught the ball in Green Bay last season.

I agree with Peta, especially since all those stories about Dez wishing harm on another player yesterday.
