(18,869 posts)According to one article 10% dog, 25%wolf and the rest is coyote. They are larger than a coyote and have stronger jaws. Because of the DC on DNA they are more apt to move into urban areas.
Beautiful animals but more dangerous than coyotes. Found in the Eastern US.

(18,869 posts)One picture I saw was a rust color but looked like a small wolf. Someone on another board said they saw one colored like a German shepherd.
I'very never seen one. I have seen a couple of coyotes around here.
And I have never seen a coy wolf. I don't think I have ever seen a real life wolf. I think I saw a wolf dog once.
