The ballots, cast when a problem occurs at the polls, let voters participate in the election while giving county elections boards time to sort out the problem. An example would be a voter whose name doesnt appear in a polling book because they recently moved.

The bill increases the amount of information a voter must provide when casting a provisional ballot. And it reduces from 10 days to seven the time in which a voter who could not provide proper ID requirement when they voted provisionally to do so at the elections board.
