LINCOLN Stakes were raised Tuesday in the federal criminal trial of ex-TierOne Bank Chief Executive Gil Lundstrom after he took the witness stand to testify in his own defense and plainly denied the charges against him.
Have you done what you are accused of? he was asked by Dan Collins, his defense attorney.

Lundstrom, 74, was the first witness called Tuesday morning in U.S. District Court in Lincoln by his attorney. U.S. prosecutors rested their case Monday.
