Memorial Day 2012 and ALL Memorial Days

I have been having a some trouble Liking quite a bit of the postings I'm seeing on FaceBook for Memorial Day (can't lie about or dissemble on this particular issue especially) . . .

until a poet friend of mine posted this one that seems to hold true for the past, present, and future:

I decorated the graves today and the US flags lining the lanes were so beautiful. There were so many that, when the wind blew, the flapping was thunderous.
