Of job creators and evildoers: It’s poppycock
THE TERM job creators used by Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney has to be the lamest euphemism since President George Bush called the 9/11 terrorists evildoers.
As it turns out, Bush wasnt as interested in the evildoers as he pretended to be, preferring to have America sponsor a reckless, costly war with Iraq. He left it for his successor, President Obama, to hunt down the evildoer himself, Osama bin Laden, and deal with the inevitable economic wreckage of their war heist.
Who comes up with these conservative monikers anyway, Dr. Seuss?
Job creators, as the term is used by Romney and the right-wing propaganda machine, actually means super rich people the infamous 1 percent, those who generally make more than a million bucks a year.
Romney argues that if you lower taxes on the job creators and reduce regulations on Wall Street, employment would surge, the value of your real estate will return to Bush bubble happy days, your skin will improve, and we will be dancing in streets of gold.
