Reported that a member of The Eagles of Death Metal (the band playing at the Bataclan) was killed, when the band itself reports they are all alive and a few other things I had heard reported differently from French sources so I switched back to CNN, which is doing a better job.

21. the bad has not reported that they are all alive. a couple members of the band

have been confirmed alive and their family members heard from. However the band's facebook page still has a message stating that they are waiting for confirmation of whereabouts and status of all members and the crew.

Another band, "Red Lemon" tweeted that they were with the band outside the venue when the attacks occured. That is not true. The band was on stage and playing when the attacks started.

Some of them made it out the back door, but one may not. There is a not yet confirmed report that one band member and the sound man are still not accounted for and may be dead.

Guitarist Dave Catching is not responding to social media requests. My guess is that their manager is waiting for confirmation on the sound man (who was not on stage, but in the audience) and any other missing crew members before making any announcements.

I do see that Maddow has "walked back" reports that a band member was killed. But I don't see any confirmed reports that all escaped.

I listened to the interview with the brother. He very specifically spoke about his brother, and no other band members.
