our War of Independence against Britain. For decades after our victory in 1783, the British attacked us, undermined us, and conducted conspiracies against us. But, the French have been consistent in being our friend.

through Monarchies, Emperors and Democracy, the French have been there. Not to mention it was the French Enlightenment (not the Christian Bible) that lead to the founding ideas of this country.

The boobs in this country who deride them need a history lesson.
