"An act of war"

That's what Holande called it. There's no going back now. Hollande understands, if he does not use military power now, LePen wins.

I expect him to invoke Article 5 of the NATO charter, too. That means we are in a major shooting war in the Middle East with no way out.

2. Looked like a crime to me, just as I saw 9/11 as a crime. Military response is a mistake.

But some people sure get a hard-on for war, eh?

11. Although it's very complicated, that's mostly what I believe. There's no country(s) to bomb.

That just won't do any good.

While I wish we didn't have to, I don't have a big problem with droning (or using quick strike forces on) known terrorists in another country if it is clear they are supplying terrorists in other countries.

As far as I am concerned, we handle this as if it were the international KKK. Surveillance, undercover work, NATO troops for quick strikes, encouraging/incentivizing middle eastern governments to help, etc.

But, I'm tired of bombing countries and killing lots of innocent people. Don't think we can avoid hurting some innocents in the short-run, but that is where governments in countries where terrorists live have to take action long-term.

I'm convinced if we had paid Iraqi citizens a per capita amount equal to what we spent bombing/invading/occupying them, we'd be a whole lot better off now. They would too.

and terrorism because that has been the result so far and I don't see any evidence that things will change.

this strong language to calm the RW in his
country, but it was his administration that
started bombing in Syria.
All I can hope or is that cooler heads prevail.
Even Putin has seen a backfiring from his
bombing over there.
We don't need WWIII, if it can be avoided
