Granted:
They are already in the fight
Turkey (vitally important ally for us) will be dead set against it as will Iran, Iraq (barely an existing nation state as it is), Syria (uh....)
They can't do the whole job without real international material and military support
ISIS is a waiting game - can they govern? are they sustainable? - but they aren't waiting (assuming Paris really was an ISIS operation)
