1. The fact that he uses quotation marks is a sure sign it's a biased, dishonest post.

But whether the statement is true? Since he didn't bother providing a link, it's automatically suspect.

but some of my boneheaded FB peeps are very gullible, especially in this mob mentality. I was hoping someone could give me a link, something I could post to debunk this.

3. Google State Dept. refugee assistance, reception and placement

State has a lot of detailed info, much of it in pdf format.

One thing to note right off the bat is that the various aspects of refugee assistance have time limits--the assistance is not a lifetime entitlement--and assistance in securing gainful employment is a major part of resettlement.

very dramatic music, shows thousands "flooding Germany and France." Then, it shows riots, bombs, and worse.

One racist/bigot I went to high school with almost 50 years ago "shared" the alarmist video, and a bunch of other similar right wing jerks chimed in. God, I really despise folks who are still hating after all these years.

I'm friends with on FB aren't conservatives, in fact, one's a former hippie, the other still is a hippie, that's why their believing and reposting this shit is so disappointing...and distressing. They lean left, but generally they aren't very political at all. Or hateful people, although they are a product of their generation if you know what I mean. They're just gullible, getting swept up in the mob mentality.

The same people, Liberals, who generally support helping Syrians emigrate, also favor helping Veterans getting better care. The politicians who oppose helping Syrians emigrate, Conservatoids, also oppose and fight all efforts to help veterans.

From people I went to high school with and a couple of guys I served in the Army with. The worst was the worst soldier I served with (literally a bag of hammers) who failed out of college. And I mean failed out.
