6. So, my husband and I went to eat at McDonalds a couple of years ago,

which is rare because we never do. Next to our table was an older white male sitting with a young Korean male-Maybe fourteen to sixteen years of age. I can't guarantee he was Korean, but that is the country that came to mind. The kid was getting a bible study. And what he said, alarmed me. He asked earnestly, "Do you mean if I accept Jesus Christ all my sins are forgiven?" The man was looking intently at the kid and replied, "Yes. And you also get everlasting life."

It creeped me out, and maybe I held my gaze too long because another older man sitting a distance away fidgeted enough to get my attention. He was scowling at me. I looked away, but could still see him walk to the two at the table to talk to them. "So, what passage are you reading?" After he received the reply he answered, "Oh, yes," and then he goes on to quote the passage.

It occurred to me that day, that in our Christian nation, if there were pedophiles or people with devious intent, it wouldn't be hard to indoctrinate people right in the open.
