A sizable chunk of that 6.3% may not vote because none of the candidates are crazy enough.

the word "wouldn't" vote to be a bit unclear. You could take it that they wouldn't vote in poll??

2. CNN Debate Requirements

Nov 2015

The cable network said on Friday that candidates will need to have either a national polling average of 3.5 percent or higher, or be polling at 4 percent or higher in Iowa or New Hampshire, to qualify for the prime-time debate, which will be held in Las Vegas on Dec. 15. CNN will consider polls that were conducted from Oct. 29 to Dec. 13.

But I guess those kind are not tolerated here. I would have tolerated the discussion here but I am learning
Plenty of traditional republican votes for Obama & Kerry based on who the Repubs chose at least that I know.
They are people who always vote and sometimes they just can't vote with their party when it hits that low point . Some really surprised me, but I say good on you to them and better than sitting out the election pouting at home IMO that's just me.

Some that always liked to debate politics with me are surprisingly quiet and somewhat embarrassed right now.

and we have always talked non-stop about politics - now they won't even claim any of these people.

It is great for us - but utterly amazing that GOP has no one who really shines and can be admired. This crew is just filled with bigotry, hate, exclusion and war mongering. What's to admire? - you'd think one of them would have some happy ideas for SOMETHING
