For many, it becomes an obsessive compulsive disorder and it cuts across all religions. ... but the god-word often gets a free pass, so seldom is it called out for what it is for some people.

Colorado Springs is a "Jesus-ville" town. We can suspect that the shooter is a fundie, but best to reserve judgement for now.

This is the main sentence on the current (Sat. morning) Denver Post online:

"A gunman killed three people, including a veteran police officer, at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs Friday, the latest act of bullet-riddled mass terror to strike a state achingly familiar with it."
