How come our media refuses to label Dear as a terrorist?

Seems to me we have serious double standards with our media. When a black person kills someone, they are considered a gang banger, criminal or thug. When an arab or Muslim kills someone, they use words like terrorist. When a right wing Christian kills someone, they use words like disturbed, mentally ill, drifter or deranged.

I am white and yet I do not subscribe to tribalism and being white does not make me oblivious to what I perceive as a real difference in the way different people are labeled in this country, according to their race, religion or ethnicity.

My only thoughts to why this is the case is that the majority of the reporters are white and have thus been subjected to the same bull shit conditioning that we all have been subjected to over the years. Another thought is that these reporters are just plain scared of the hate mail and/or threats they will receive if they call a duck a duck.

In either case, in my book anyway, this right wing Christian terrorist, is no better or no worse, than the Muslims that killed those people over in Paris. A terrorist is a terrorist.
